Technology in Education

Google drive can be called the imaginary safe where you can save your documents and work, almost for free. The best thing about it is that you can access to your savings anywhere and whenever you want without worrying about the heavy load of the laptop that you had carry everywhere you go. It is simply awesome
.

Blogger, at first, is something difficult to cope with; especially when it comes to writing on a page and editing. The text and/or the photo keeps on jumping from one side to another, making you feel frustrated, but when you get used to all its features and how it works, you will find it a good place to express and share ideas with others. It needs time, though, but you will manage.

Google Forms are interesting to work with. They offer many options to choose from and they facilitate creating whatever kind of document you need. In addition to that, you are saving your work in the cloud, not on your laptop where you can save storage.

Webinars are the most useful way to gain information and to participate in professional development workshops while you are in your PJs at home. They are fun, promote socializing, easy and beneficial. just think of the time and effort you will be saving when attending a webinar instead of traveling from one place to another to attend a seminar. It is just as simple as clicking a button!

Padlet is free and easy to use. Padlet is an online virtual “bulletin” board, where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, share links and pictures, in a secure location.Padlet allows users to create a hidden wall with a custom URL. Padlet creators can also moderate posts, remove posts, and manage their board 24/7.

A scientific poster is one way of presenting information in a brief, catchy way. Using a scientific poster is better than giving a long talk about a certain topic where it is direct to the point, clear and meaningful.

RubiStar is a tool to help the teacher who wants to use rubrics but does not have the time to develop them from scratch. RubiStar provides generic rubrics that can simply be printed and used for many typical projects and research assignments. The unique thing about RubiStar, however, is that it provides these generic rubrics in a format that can be customized. The teacher can change almost all suggested text in the rubric to make it fit their own project.

"The Beauty of Web Quests are their flexibility since they can be anything to anyone". They can be used for several purposes; for example: to begin a unit as an anticipatory set,to conclude a unit as a summation, can be used as a collaborative activity in which students create a product, to increase students' competency in the use of technology; and as a motivational technique to keep students on task.

It is an interesting software where it helps educators to present dynamic lessons that include moving around the classroom. It consists of a large number of tools that enables educators to display collaborative lessons. it is loved by both students and teachers.
